Passed through and wanted a burger so we stopped here.  The owners were very polite and accommodating. You can tell they really care about customer service. It was busy as all get out and the owners gave us a complimentary beverage and queso fry while we waited.

But the best part, the smell coming out the door. That and the taste. Burger had phenomenal flavor and the fries are nice crispy golden brown. The quesso they put on it had a nice spice to it, but not too much for my 4 year old daughter to handle.

If you love a delicious burger and don't mind a little wait with some conversation I'd highly recommend it. I'm coming back next time i pass through

Food came out hot and fresh. Best fast food burger I’ve tasted in a while. Loaded fries could have been crispier but they were very flavorful and I did enjoy them. Brussel sprouts were crispy and the sauce on them was fire! Service was great. Alex was very attentive to the customers. Kept coming out to make sure everyone was doing well and enjoying their meal. Atmosphere was cool. Outside bench seating. Everyone was very chill and patient. Overall, loved the spot, the food, and the service was real good. Will be back.

Food was amazing, owner really was super pleasant to talk too and very outgoing to treat everyone and make sure business was going smoothly. 10/10 will be back. Price was a little expensive but definitely got my moneys worth. Best smash burger I’ve ever had

Burger Nerds was great! Well seasoned and flavored smash burger. The queso fries had a little sweetness to them and the brussel sprouts were dynamite.

The service was excellent and the food came out quick considering the amount of to go orders they were pumping out.

Incredible spot! The burger was unreal—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. But what really stood out was the customer service. The staff (total nerds in the best way) were super friendly, attentive, and just made the whole experience awesome.
The vibes were immaculate—chill, welcoming, and just a great place to hang out. You can tell they actually care about the food and the people. 100% coming back. Also halal

Went to burger nerds on a busy Saturday for lunch. I got a double classic with fries. The wait did take about 20 minutes, but the owner treated me to a free queso fry and rink for the long wait. Very nice staff and the atmosphere is perfect for such a small shop. When I got my food, the burger was perfectly prepared and flavorful and the bacon really was a nice touch to add. The fries were crispy and salted and fresh out the fryer. Easily a 11/10 experience. If you are in the mood for a burger and are in the Metairie area, please do yourself a favor and co.e hit up burger nerds!!! Best smash burger in town!!!!

This is hands down one of the best burger spots I’ve ever been to. Everything about it is great! I highly recommend anyone to try this! Worth the money spent there!

This unassuming spot is a hidden gem for burger enthusiasts. Definitely the best hole in the wall restaurant I’ve been to yet! Was met by a humble and nice owner named Ali (Alex) was absolutely delightful. He surprised me when he said the FOOD WAS HALAL.

The Queso Burger is a standout. Two smashed patties with crispy edges, griddled onions, pickles, and a generous melted queso and their signature Nerd Sauce. It’s a flavor-packed bite that's both comforting and bold.

Don't skip the fries they're perfectly crispy, and come in generous portions. For an extra treat, try the Loaded Fries topped with queso, beef bacon, and Nerd Sauce.

Saw this place posted all over Facebook and had to give it a try myself. Service was great, the owner came out to greet customers, which shows he cares about his business. Food was cooked to order, came out fresh and delicious. This place is great! I ordered the queso burger and am not a  fan of queso unless it’s on Chips but it was recommended and did not disappoint. The queso its self was packed with flavor😋 I also was told to try the loaded fries and those were delicious as well. I will definitely be back💕

Absolutely love this place! If I ever want a burger, this is my go-to place! The BEST smash burger in the city hands down. Mat and the whole staff are very friendly and welcoming!

Very small menu, but these guys do it well. We got a classic double, queso double, and loaded fries. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. If I was being super picky, I think the burger patties could use a touch more salt. The customer service really throws this place over the edge. You can tell the staff are passionate about the food. Alex helped us at the counter, he was so warm and inviting and explained the menu to us, giving suggestions. Will definitely be back!

I ordered the Queso Burger - single w/ Brussel Sprouts along with some Nerd Sauce. The food was AMAZINGLY fresh and made right in front of me! I got to meet Alex, the owner, who was very friendly and helpful. The staff and service was fast and friendly. I will definitely visit and eat here again. Parking can be difficult when it gets busy, but it’s best to park by CVS and walk across the street. There is indoor/outdoor seating. I highly recommend this burger joint.

This place is nothing short of amazing. The food was hot and fresh, made right in front of me. The owner Alex was there, and he makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. I highly recommend this place!!! Btw that’s not me in the pic 🤣🤣🤣 happy eating everyone.

This might be one of the best burger spots in Louisiana! The atmosphere is great, the service is top tier, and the food is phenomenal! All of the staff are very friendly. They will make sure you have a fantastic experience here. Shoutout to Xavier and the owner!

I got the queso double burger with bacon, an order of fries and a water. I spent 25 dollars which I could see as a reason to complain, but I promise you every dollar you spend here is going towards quality.

Great food! Wonderful service!

A lot of kind people working there !  It felt like that’s what they wanted it to be and that’s exactly how it came off. Good food, hard-working people that care about the food. It was a hot day so I know it was hard for them. Thank you for the delicious burgers 🍔!

Its a small place.   All tables were filled.  Everyone looked happy even though it must have been 78 degrees inside.  Burger and fries were good.  I'd order again.  I should have tried the need sauce but first time wanted to keep it simple.   I parked across the street at the CVS since I was picking up order.
